Notes: I was raised by my father while my mother was in and out of prison. She struggled with substance abuse of many forms. Unfortunately my mother passed away shortly after she began getting her life on track. Just before my mother’s death my stepfather passed away and just after my grandmother died as well. These deaths had a profound impact on my psyche. I took all of those experiences of pain, loss, depression and put them into this song.
